A mother and daughter’s vision

We’ve always believed that wine should be approachable, a joyful addition to a meal, and a way to learn about people - both those seated at your table and the ones crafting the wine in your glass.

For much of my life, my mother, Candi, and I have talked about the bottle shop we would open together. From the producers we’d carry and the location we’d pick to the way it would make people feel. My 20s saw me across North America, from Boston to Montreal to Alaska to Portland. Over the course of a decade, I worked in industries that spanned education, bear adventures, and professional sports, finally following my passion to a legacy Oregon winery.

The Oregon coast quickly became sacred to us and my mother’s trips from the east coast would regularly include a visit to the Pacific Ocean. In the meantime, after a winding career path, I also began working in marketing for a legacy Oregon winery.

After years of daydreaming, planning, and hard work, Candi and I are thrilled to be so close to fulfilling our vision in Gearhart. While this is a project the two of us are undertaking, my father's memory will play a central role in Daughter's. An Alaskan tankerman, my late father was not a regular at any wine bars. He did, however, love the Oregon coast. It was a special space for us and his memory is imbued up and down the 101 for me. His gregarious energy and generous spirit are core sources of inspiration for Daughter's. It means a great deal to have this dream come to fruition with the support of both parents and an incredible, global community.

I can’t wait to see you at Daughter’s!
